This is our 1st memory foam mattress - I debated for months on whether to buy this or not. We had purchased a coil spring mattress and box spring in Aug '10 - and after 6 months, realized that it was a mistake, it starting breaking down and pillow top that seemed comfy at first became a toss'n turn nightmare!! We debated on whether or not to go with a coil spring mattress again or try something new.
I started reading tons of mattress reviews, and began leaning towards "memory foam" - but wasn't overly excited about the idea of spending thousands of dollars for one!! I luckily ran accross the Dynasty Mattress here on Amazon -- after reading all the reviews, and those of other sites - I finally pulled the trigger, I thought although $1,049 isn't something to sneeze at - I've spent $$$ on dumber things!!
A little about us, I'm 6'4", 285lbs, and my significant other is 5'4", 105lbs.

I've had the bed a little over a month at this point.
It's extremely comfortable, and I feel a whole lt better sleeping on it.
Arrives vacuum packed and rolled up on a standard UPS truck.
It weighs a good 100+lbs, so you really need 2 people to move it. I helped the UPS guy carry it into the house.
In my case the packaging was damaged but the mattress was undamaged.
Unrolling the package, and watching it re inflate is quite something.
There is an odor that takes a few days to air out, but it's not intolerable.
Have to wait and see how it holds up over time, but right now I'm very impressed.

i will never get tired of telling people that i paid $1200 for something that would have cost $7000 + tax + shipping at brookstone. get it, you won't regret it!
